If you donât enjoy the game without mounts, but donât want to use up your level 80 pass, you can ask a level 80 player to help you get a mount regardless of your characterâs level. This way, you can get the base raptor at low level, and youâll have your level 80 pass for when itâs more appropriate to use.
Edit: just realized I didnât touch on mounts. Those are tied to the expansions. Some are easy to get (majority are) but will usually need you to play through the story of the path of fire expansion. Alternatively the newest expansion end of dragons I believe you can unlock a few of the mounts without doing the story.When you start the game, open your hero screen by pressing H. If you're certain you want to keep playing the game though, you should buy one of the expansions asap just for the mount.. even if you don't want to boost. It dramatically changes the pace of the game in a good way and makes levelling a lot more enjoyable. Everyone that owns an expansion gets the basic mount at lvl 10 now.
